What Lurks in the Cursed Lands? Vampires

What are they?

Vampires are undead beings who must drink blood to survive. 

Where can they be found?

Vampire are most popular in European folklore, but appear in other folklore including Greek. The place with the biggest connection to vampires is Transylvania, thanks to the popularity of Dracula.

What powers do they have?

Vampires are strong, fast and are immortal. They can usually be killed by a wooden stake through the heart, by beheading or from direct sunlight. There are other abilities that are not always included but they range from shapeshifting to controlling people's minds.
