A search for a cure. A journey fraught with danger. A fateful bond. Determined demon-hunter, Maeve, must risk everything to obtain The Book of Raziel—a font of spells, divine magic, and ethereal knowledge—to cure her work partner of a deadly supernatural virus. And though she isn’t surprised to discover that the book is in the Garden of Eden, she is surprised to learn that the garden is situated in Hell! Now Maeve faces her biggest challenge: fighting her inner demons¬, or be lost to the wanderlust of Hell forever. Broken and reclusive, Ezra Virunas has one goal—kill the demon who stole the Sacred Seals, and, in return, he would regain his freedom. Never mind that Ezra has to use Maeve’s soul as bait to close the case, Ezra knows just how deceitful women can be, and he is convinced Maeve is no different. But he is mistaken, and despite fighting against it, her pure heart soon becomes a light to his darkened past. As Maeve and Ezra’s bond deepens, so too does the danger awaiting them. Will they emerge from Hell unscathed? Love Me To Hell And Back is a haunting tale of self-reflection and forgiveness. Review: Maeve is on a misson to save her partner after he contracts a demon virus. Guilty that she didn't do more to help him, she sets out to find a spell book that will save his life. An interesting read with a lot going on. Paranormamal fantasy fans will enjoy this book. I would recommend it. Elizabeth is a Cali girl who should enjoy the California sun more than she does. She’s content being indoors writing and creating spooky stories with strong leading women and bad boy leading men. With a degree in psychology, Elizabeth is drawn to the complexities of human behavior. The diversity of personalities, interactions, emotions, and relationships reflect in her writing.
When Elizabeth isn’t busy typing away, she enjoys time with her husband, two boys, and her two Weimaraner pups. And thanks to her love for lattes, she enjoys reading paranormal romance late into the night. Her husband and her two boys inspired her to never give up, and thanks to them, she’s proud to announce her debut novel: Love Me To Hell And Back. A haunting tale of self-reflection and forgiveness, even in the darkness of Hell. 1) Tell us about your book I write NA sword and sorcery mashed with contemporary fantasy and a dash of the multiverse. It all centres around a cocky swordsman and his exasperated friends. It has noblebright themes with worldbuilding threaded throughout the plot. I love it when a story comes full circle and closes off nicely, ready for the next. My stories are heavily UK influenced, from the mythology and folklore to the settings (semi-rural British countryside and our canals feature a lot. Slightly obsessed with canals). I’ll feature the dreaming spires of Oxford next to steel-crash impacted Sheffield, and there needs to be more about the laylines influencing Milton Keynes and the real story behind the Magic Roundabout in Swindon. 2) How long have you been writing? I got into fantasy young, and I’m all for stories that use the settings / events to explore human nature and character-driven storylines. My first “grown up” fantasy writer was Eddings, and I love that balance of humour and heart. I’ve been writing stories since I learned to write, but only recently started sharing them with the world. Creative writing was my favourite subject in school, and my stories used to be read out in assemblies. I’m also a scientist, which is not incompatible. Scientists need a great deal of imagination to figure things out, and I tend to ground the magic systems into something close to reality while still letting it just be – it is magic, after all! I write because these characters have been hanging around me since I was a teenager. Each new iteration brings me closer to the story that wants to be told. A new version of them stepped into my life about two years ago, and this version of Thorrn won’t take ‘later’ for an answer. 3) Tell us something unique about your main character He struggles with his image and his shortcomings. As the self-proclaimed king’s best swordsman, he wants to project confidence and perfection and be the hero everyone can rely on, but he struggles with flare ups of all-consuming rage and is highly dyslexic. Truly, he needs to stop trying to be perfect and instead learn that everyone is imperfectly perfect the way they are. 4) Is your book part of a series? It is! The Tenets in the Tattoos is book 1, and book 2 is The Bind of Blood and Bonds. There are currently eight books planned for the series! 5) What is your favorite thing about being an author? My favourite thing is being able to share the characters. They have been with me for long enough – it’s time they went off to make new friends! I also love the creative control of being the person to plot out the series, commission the covers, choose my editors, and I even love networking and marketing. It’s the full package for me! 6) What does the future hold for you? I will be writing a more romantic fantasy as part of a collaboration. Early next year, The King’s Swordsman books 3 and 4 will be published, and I cannot wait to share where Thorrn’s adventures take him next. Becky James is the author of The King's Swordsman series. Based in the UK, she has a deep love of the British countryside, canals, and all things fantasy; she devours anything that has magic, swords, good friends and good times.
She is often floating around the socials! https://www.facebook.com/becky.james.7549185/ 1) Tell us about your book Spider’s Awakening is a story of a goddess brought up under the cruel boot of Ares. Unloved and unwanted by the only family she had ever known, she never believed there was anything more out there for her. Her only friend was a spider she called Scratch, until a man from the stars showed her a life she never thought possible. A family that loved and cherished her. Now she must fight to keep the family she had barely gotten to know, from the ones who had brought them together. 2) How long have you been writing? Can’t remember a time when I didn’t have a story in my head just wanting to get out. I started writing my first series, The Sanctuary Guardians, over 19 years ago. They were actually created when I was in grade school and have always played major roles in my stories. 3) Tell us something unique about your main character. Calista is a goddess who grew up believing she was Greek only to find out she was actually an Atlantean Goddess. 4) Is your book part of a series? When I first started writing the book I had planned on it being a standalone but after some feedback from my beta readers and editor, decided to make it a series. 5) What is your favorite thing about being an author? My most favorite thing is bringing my stories to life, from my head down onto paper. 6) What does the future hold for you? More books, hopefully audio as well and even a Guardian coloring book. The future is full of possibilities and I plan to do as much as possible. T.L. Shively is an award-winning author who plays mom and wife with a daytime job but after hours you will find her knee-deep in gnomes, fairies, and all things fantasy. She loves when her imagination takes her places she hasn't been, then she writes them down on paper so she can share them.
She loves playing RPG games both online and game systems, her favorite is Kingdom Hearts. Could have something to do with her Disney addiction. She loves to draw as well as write although she is no Picasso, she also loves anything artsy and crafty. If you love fantasy then you are in good company 1) Tell us about your book. The world of Pylertchia is in peril. A descendant of the Great Deceiver has returned and rumors of an army amassing in the East are spreading throughout the land. Eons have passed since the Great Deceiver trapped the eight Dragon Lords in hidden prisons and now, with the fate of Pylertchia in the balance, they are calling forth the Dragon Born to find and free them. Fifteen-year-old Adalee is the vessel of the dormant Dragon Essence, which has awakened the Call and is pulling her toward her fate. But can she escape the clutches of her abusive keeper and embrace her destiny, or is Pylertchia doomed to fall under the Great Deceiver’s rule? This book is the first in an eight-book series, set in the fictional world of Pylertchia in an age best described as ancient. 2) How long have you been writing? I began writing when I was five years old. I loved making up stories and drawing illustrations for them. However, the idea for this story came to me when I was seventeen, and I spent eighteen years perfecting the idea. The first book came out in early 2021, and the second is set to come out early spring of 2022. 3) Tell us something unique about your main character. My main character is Adalee, a vivacious fifteen-year-old girl who has many demons to conquer. She is the Dragon Born, destined to find and free the Dragon Lords, and the world recognizes her by her hair that looks like fire in the wind, and her eyes that glimmer like gems in the light. 4) Is your book part of a series? It is. This is the first book in an eight-book series, and the plan is to have one release a year. 5) What is your favorite thing about being an author? I love getting to express myself. I love residing in a place where I don’t have to tone down my crazy ideas, and instead can create a world for them to inhabit. For someone who has always been described as being a little ‘extra’ during playtime with friends, I am grateful to be an author that can be as extra as I please, because the world belongs to me. 6) What does the future hold for you? I will continue working on this series, but once it is completed, I have many spin-off series and stand-alone novels that also take place in Pylertchia, expanding across all eras. Some of them will include characters that the readers meet during Dragon Born, and some will simply be origin stories of legends and myths of Pylertchia. But I don’t see myself being done writing for a very, very long time. Rachel Kaufman was born in Dallas, TX in 1985. She has one younger brother, Justin, and an older half-brother, John, and half-sister, Connie. She wrote her first story when she was five, which her parents, John and Jana, promptly secured to the front of the refrigerator.
She spent the next few years leaning into her creativity and expressing her ideas through written word, drawings, and telling stories. In the third grade she realized her love of reading, and poured all her extra time into absorbing story after story, and trying to convince her friends to re-enact said stories in their childhood games on the playground. She loved to read so much, she forgot how much she loved to write until she turned seventeen, and the spark re-ignited. She has spent the last eighteen years building the world of Pylertchia and is excited about her debut series. Rachel has a BA in English with a double-minor in Secondary Education and Spanish. She is a stay-at-home mother in Alabama to her two small children, Levi and Hannah. Her husband not only works full time but is also her agent and publisher. She enjoys scrapbooking, painting, doing puzzles, and exploring new places. The family has two cats, named Desmond and Oliver, though she lovingly refers to them as the "floofen-truffles." |
