In a world where most teenagers are busy acting up, acting out or daring each other to drink goldfish - Stephen Sutton is an inspiration to his generation. Faced with a fatal illness he bravely set out to help raise money for his charity Teenage Cancer Trust. As of writing this post the amount raised has just past the £2.6 million mark. That is incredible.
Stephen continues to fight but he will leave an amazing legacy behind. I am currently raising money for Cancer Research UK over 2014. Whichever cancer charity you give to you are helping raise vital funds that hopefully one day will provide a cure for cancer. A childhood friend of mine passed away fairly recently and it was quite a shock. Cancer can strike anyone, at any time and at any age. For the rest of the year I will be raising money through various means including craft fairs, raffles and by taking part in Race For Life. My goal for the year is to raise £1000. If you would like to donate, here is the link to the just giving page. The money goes directly to Cancer Research UK. https://www.justgiving.com/Samantha-Gregory1. Thank you for supporting this worthwhile charity. Comments are closed.
