Redemption by Randi Cooley Wilson is the third book in her Revelation Series. Eve Collins has lost her love Asher and now must contend with a new guardian. Lost and grief stricken, Eve has to move forward with her destiny whether she wants to or not. Eve’s plight continues and you really feel for her as she deals with her loss. With Gage as her new protector, it made a refreshing change from the status quo and it was interesting to see the two of them interact. The Eve/Asher love saga continues and we learn more about why they are drawn to each other. The ending was a surprise and I can’t wait to see how it works out in the next book. It’s hard to pigeonhole these books. They would definitely attract younger teens, but the content is aimed more at the older teen. I would say sixteen or seventeen would be the ideal age to read these books. Eve as a character is a typical eighteen year old, but I would like to see her stand up for herself more. Hopefully she’ll come into her own when she has to fight against Lucifer and his dark army. With two more books to go, anything could happen. Randi was born and raised in Massachusetts where she attended Bridgewater State University and graduated with a degree in Communication Studies. After graduation she moved to California where she lived happily bathed in sunshine and warm weather for fifteen years.
Randi and her husband recently moved back to Massachusetts with their daughter where she was encouraged to begin writing again. Revelation is her first novel and The Revelations Series is her first New Adult Paranormal Romance book series. “I’ve had a love affair with books, writing and storytelling since childhood. It has been a dream of mine to introduce this world and these characters to you. I hope I’ve done them justice.” Randi loves to hear from readers, you can reach out to her via Twitter: R_CooleyWilson and/or Facebook: authorrandicooleywilson 1. Can you tell us briefly what your book is about? Redemption, is the third book within The Revelation Series. The story continues to follow college freshman, Eve Collins on her journey of self-discovery, forbidden love and divine secrets. 2. Are there more books planned in the series? There are two more books slated to release within The Revelation Series. The fourth installment, Revolution is releasing in Spring of 2015 and the fifth and final book, Restoration, will be releasing in the Summer of 2015. 3. What writers inspire you? Gosh, I get asked this question a lot and honestly, it changes with my mood. I love the classics: Jane Austen, John Milton and William Shakespeare. In fact, The Revelation Series was inspired by John Milton’s Paradise Lost. Currently, I adore and am inspired by any writer who excels at world building, strong female leads and no matter how dark, throws humor and lightness into any story. 4. What does the future hold? I have two new adult contemporary romance books releasing after The Revelation Series ends and some more amazing opportunities I can’t go into just yet surrounding my books. 5. What made you want to become a writer? I’ve always written mainly because I needed an outlet for my creative energy and daydreaming tendencies. As someone who loves to escape into new worlds and immerse myself in amazing characters I think it was just a natural transition. One that I am not giving up any time soon. Thanks so much for having me today. 11/12/2014 07:39:03 pm
