1) Tell us about your Alpha book. My book, Pack Queen: A Shifters of Crescent City Novel, is a high octane paranormal reverse harem romance. It features Chastity Johnson, a reporter swept up in a government conspiracy to genetically alter shifters. She meets three mates over the course of the book—Maahes, Omar, and Rajesh, a lion, frostwolf, and tiger shifter. 2) What do you love about Alphas? I love the fact that they can command a room and also protect and nurture their mate, or mates. This will be my first time writing a luna, or alpha female, and I’m excited to explore the possibilities. It’ll be fun navigating swoony scenes with three bull-headed alphas (including the FMC) and one mate who is a unique shifter (which would spoil the story so can’t say!). 3) Is this a series or a standalone? So Pack Queen is intended to be a standalone, though it might become a duet in the end. However, the book is a part of a large shared universe called Luna City. Stories set in Crescent City will include slayers, vampires, shifters, and more paranormals as they navigate inside “human society.” Luna Cove stories take place in a world dominated by the paranormal, as well as feral immortals. I’m excited to introduce readers to Crescent City with Pack Queen. Which reminds me, I need to get a reading order up stat! 4) If you could shape-shift into an animal, what would it be and why? Hands down an orangutan. 5) What is next for you? Right now I’m working on that aforementioned reading order and other website freebies. My main focus for the rest of May and June will be getting two newsletter serials going when I’m not writing for publication. Finally, I’m editing a huge anthology that I can’t wait to share.
