I was born on Halloween which I have always loved.  A day dedicated to everything spooky, what's not to love?
I would like to share a local ghost story that I heard growing up. It turns out it actually is quite a common story which seems to happen all over the world. 
A man was driving home one night when he saw a woman standing by the side of the road. She appeared to be carrying a baby in her arms. As he drove past, she threw herself in front of the car. The man immediately slammed on the brakes and got out to look, but there was no one there. 
Other reports on the same road have people picking the woman up and she would disappear from the back seat. Creepy or what? Defintely a good reason to never pick up hitchhikers.
I don't believe I have ever seen a ghost, but I do believe they exist. I do think that animals can see them, especially cats, which I love.
