The new release from author Sasha Leigh, features sixteen year old Alyssa Frank as the main protagonist. Alyssa is a normal teenage girl, or so she thinks. One day while leaving school, she is attacked by a gang of students which results in her death. Usually this would be the end of the tale, but not for Alyssa. She is given a second chance to live the same week over and make different choices. Can she figure out how to get everything right? Can she survive until Saturday? This was a great first book for the series. The main character is likeable and tough. She acts selflessly where most teenagers wouldn't. With a blend of Greek and Christian mythology, you are drawn into Alyssa's world and find yourself rooting for her. This book tackles some tough subject matter and we learn that there is no quick fix for some problems. Sometimes you can't make things better, you can only choose the outcome which causes the least damage to all concerned. I would highly recommend this book to both teens and adults. You can purchase it here. For information on the author Sasha Leigh go to: http://sashaleigh.weebly.com/ 4/9/2014 08:49:42 am
