Paranormal Fantasy Summer - Addison Sinclair Guest Post

Paranormal Fantasy is my favorite genre to write in. I love weaving magic through the real world and creating characters who may seem normal on the surface, but underneath they are something else entirely. 
My Heart Of A Dragon series features Seraphina who is a young woman who almost died. She was attacked and left for dead. After being rescued by a vampire, she soon learns that she isn't human, but rather a dragon shifter. The attack left her with no memory of her life, so even though she has had these abilities her whole life, she can't remember how to access them.
I liked the idea of having a MC who doesn't know her own past. She can't remember what has happened to her or why anyone would try to kill her. It creates a real sense of paranoia as she tries to figure out who she can trust.
The series was great fun to write. I've never written a dragon shifter before and I wanted to have it that they don't shift completely, they just have dragon features. 
Seraphina's journey across the five books leads her down some dark roads. She gradually learns the truth and is left with a choice to make. Does she return to her old life, or stay in the new one she has created for herself.
